By investing in the most sophisticated equipment, subject matter experts and an in house reporting software to protect confidentiality – we are able to provide accurate results and 24/7 customer service backed by the integrity the parent company’s name invokes.
The company is family owned, professionally managed and provides services on a global basis. Our Head Laboratory located at Mumbai is a 4 story stand alone facility that employs over 65 chemists and professionals, and is capable of testing over 3500 parameters.
RCA - HISTORY
Chain of Laboratories Provides Services On a National Basis
Following the completion of his PhD in Pharmacology in 1948, our founder Dr. Raman C. Amin (RCA) returned to India and upon Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s suggestion, forayed into the quality testing services space.
What started as a singular office and laboratory, soon became one of the earliest inspection agencies to be appointed by the Government of India following independence. RCA Group continued to leverage their experience locally to secure foreign nominations, conduct international activities and start representing global agencies in the domestic market.
As the group expanded their activities across multiple commodities and industries, the name became a trusted partner in the agricultural sector; an identity that the company has worked hard to retain and develop.
In the 1980s, the second generation of the Amin family – sons Siddharth and Vikram – joined the family business and have continued to helm it to this day.
Today, with 30 offices, 6 laboratories and a team of 1200+ trained professionals, the company is ISO 17020:2012, ISO 17025:2017, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 accredited with many more honours, memberships and qualifications to its name.
